Description

It's a year and a half on from PAPER AEROPLANES, and Renee is now happily living with her Auntie Jo. They even have geese, and Renee likes to sit and watch them, wondering if she'll ever find 'the One' - someone who will love her and be there for her no matter what. She and Flo are in their final year at school, and they have some tough choices to make - like will they go to university? And if so where - and will they go together?Renee's usual ambivalence shocks Flo, who had assumed they'd continue as best friends forever. She feels as though she needs Renee's support, so when a handsome boy enters Flo's life, she finds herself powerfully drawn to his kindness. Renee and Flo's friendship will soon be tested in a way neither of them could have expected. While PAPER AEROPLANES was about finding friendship, GOOSE explores whether it's possible to hold onto it.

Dawn O'Porter is a broadcaster, novelist and print journalist who lives in Los Angeles with her husband Chris, cat Lilu and dog Potato. She has made numerous documentaries about all sorts of things: polygamy, childbirth, Geisha, body image, breast cancer and even the movie DIRTY DANCING. Dawn is currently a columnist for Glamour Magazine in the UK, and writes regularly for many other publications. Her first novel, PAPER AEROPLANES, was published by Hot Key Books in 2013, to critical acclaim. GOOSE is the sequel, and two more novels in the series are planned.
