Author Biography
Dana Shields lost her twenty-six-year-old brother, Jeb, in a plane crash in 1991. Ten years later, on 9/11, she lost a childhood friend. Dana sent her friend's grieving family a sweet booklet with notes on her experience of grief and loss as a means to help. What started as a single bereavement note turned into a colourful, mini booklet that was in high demand in her community. Dana is a designer and lives in Menlo Park, CA, with her family. This is her first book.
