2021 is the 40th anniversary of the Limehouse Declaration. This launched the Social Democratic Party which later merged to become the Liberal Democrats. To mark this important milestone, prominent politicians propose new ideas for the coming decades. Sir Vince Cable describes the current state of social democracy.
