"Fee!" he said, and "Fi!" he said, and "Fo!" he said and "Fum!"Look out children, the Giant of Jum is grumpy and hungry and he's off in search of a tasty snack. And the tastiest of all is a boy known as Jack! But Jack and his friends don't see a scary giant, they see a magically tall man - a man who can fetch lost balls and rescue cats from trees! Perhaps this hungry giant is softer than he seems... An incredible rhyming text read aloud by actor Stephen Mangan, and a brilliant, big-hearted twist on a classic fairy tale, The Giant of Jum: Book and CD Pack sees the launch of a major picture book pairing: the uniquely talented author and poet, Elli Woollard, and award-winning illustrator, Benji Davies. Also contains an important message for all: don't eat kids, eat cake!

Author Biography

Elli Woollard is an exciting talent on the picture books scene, who started writing stories after an embarrassing incident in which her youngest son broke Michael Rosen's glasses. In addition to picture books, she also writes children's poems. Her snappy rhymes, catchy rhythms and witty stories are sure to make her a huge success. The Giant of Jum is her first book for Macmillan, as well as the start of her collaboration with Benji Davies. Elli lives in London with her four children, her husband and two guinea pigs. Benji Davies is an award-winning children's illustrator and animation director.
