Description
Dara Flood always says the most interesting thing about her life happened before she was born. Thirteen days before she came into the world, her father walked up the road and never came back. Now in her twenties, she lives a quiet life with her mother and sister Angel and works at the local dog pound - she finds dogs much easier to understand than people. But when Angel gets sick and neither Dara nor her mother is a match for the kidney she desperately needs, Dara knows she will do anything to save Angel - even track down the man who left them behind. So with the help of a rather surprising private investigator, Dara steps anxiously in to the big wide world with a dream of finding Mr Flood. But as you know, following your dreams can lead you to unexpected places . . .

Reviews'Hilarious . . . But there's death and guilt, too, in this sometimes dark, tear-jerking novel' **** * Company * 'I loved this . . . it's warm, funny and made me cry (a couple of times). It is also really well written . . . Perfect for a summer's day with not much else on since you'll want to read it in one sitting' * Sara Lawrence, Daily Mail * Move over Marian, it's Ciara . . . impressive and highly entertaining [with] one of the most authentic female characters I've read in women's fiction for a long time . . . lots of biting humour and a darker side beneath the laughs. * Irish Independent Review * Praise for SAVING GRACE * : * 'I just can't get over how charming this book was. It was a delight to read' * www.chicklitcentral.com * Sad, funny and wise novel * Marie Claire * A beautifully written, somewhat whimsical and very encouraging tale about grabbing hold of life's reins, breaking away from the monotony of a dull routine and following your dreams . . . emotional, joyous . . . I adored it. * Daily Mail *
