Description
Early Readers are stepping stones from picture books to reading books. A blue Early Reader is perfect for sharing and reading together. A red Early Reader is the next step on your reading journey. Horrid Henry would much rather have pizza and chips for his Christmas lunch, and this year, he might just get his way...
Author Biography
Francesca Simon spent her childhood in California, and then went to Yale and Oxford Universities to study medieval history and literature. She now lives in London with her family. Tony Ross is one of Britain's best known illustrators, with many picture books to his name. He has also produced the line drawings for many fiction titles. He lives in Wales. Miranda Richardson has appeared in films such as THE HOURS, SLEEPY HOLLOW, THE CRYING GAME, EMPIRE OF THE SUN and HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE. TV work includes A DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF TIME, JACKANORY, Queen Elizabeth in BLACKADDER and Queen Mary in THE LOST PRINCE. She has won two SPOKEN WORD AWARDs for her inspired readings of HORRID HENRY AND THE SECRET CLUB and HORRID HENRY'S STINKBOMB audiobooks for Orion.
Reviewsself-contained, satisfying stories by writers who really know their stuff, helping the youngest readers get the most out of books pitched perfectly at their level. Great illustrations, too! -- Imogen Russell Williams * Imogen Russell Williams *
