Author Biography

Anthony Horowitz is an award-winning children's author, writer for television and creator of the phenomenal Alex Rider series. He lives in London. Tony Lee is a prolific comic books writer, having worked on the titles X-Men, Doctor Who Magazine and Starship Troopers. He has also written for radio, television and national newspapers. He lives in Birmingham. Dom Reardon is a British comics artist, whose work appears mainly in the British comic 2000AD. He lives near Buckfastleigh, Devon. Lee O'Connor is an illustrator whose work has appeared in the cult European comics magazine Heavy Metal, the popular Phonogram series from Image Comics, the Iraq graphic novel published by the international humanitarian charity War on Want and numerous anthologies, small press and indie comics on both sides of the Atlantic. Lee's illustrations have appeared in magazines and on book covers, and he has storyboarded for film and music video. His artwork has been exhibited in London, he's lectured on Illustration in Australia and painted murals in New Zealand. A fantastic adaptation that fans of Anthony Horowitz will devour with joy, and horror! Empire of Books A thoroughly enjoyable rollercoaster of a read. Writing from the Tub Fans of Horowitz will enjoy re-reading the novel in graphic novel form but it's also worth coaxing reluctant readers to the graphic novel version as well. Very accessible and full of imagery. LoveReading4Kids This novel is a brilliant example of expert story telling mixed with some stunning graphics and I would recommend both this and the original novel to anyone. Magic of Reading
