Description
I Breathe is a brilliant way for children aged 3+ to learn about mindfulness, which is thought to improve children's emotional well-being and academic achievement. Mindfulness is being taught in many schools and promotes physical and mental wellness, helping to improve children's concentration and their ability to manage emotions, anxiety and stress. Becky and Ben buzz and hum like busy bees, Alice snuffles like a bouncy bunny and Lulu roars like a brave lion. They learn to be calm, peaceful, free and strong. With yoga, every breath takes them on an adventure - and YOU can join in. A fun, interactive and imaginative way for children aged 3+ years to learn mindfulness through yoga. Susie Brooks is an award winning author and has been writing children's non-fiction and picture books for over 10 years. Inspired by worldwide travels, she is fascinated by the unusual and the extraordinary. Cally Johnson-Isaacs graduated in Illustration from Newcastle Art College. Her simple, joyful illustrations are full of warmth and gentle humour. Her 'Yoga girls' illustrations have a growing number of followers on Instagram.
Author Biography
Susie Brooks lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, Justin, and of course, their two boys, Corgnelius and Stumphrey. She spends most of her time at home doing ordinary things like taking 400 photos a day of her dogs, hugging them, sniffing their corn chip paws, crying and wondering why they're so perfect, watching them sleep, etc. In her spare time she enjoys going to concerts and music festivals with her friends.
