Description
Max is having trouble taking care of his library books, and Zoe is ready to help him. She explains that folding the pages into dog ears is not good book manners. Max needs to find a way to show the librarian that he has learned his lesson and will take better care of the books.
Author Biography
Shelley Swanson Sateren is the award-winning author of many children's books. She has worked as a children's book editor and in a children's bookstore. Today, besides writing, Shelley works with elementary-school-aged children in various settings. She lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with her husband and two sons. Mary Sullivan has been drawing and writing her whole life, which has mostly been spent in Texas. She earned a BFA from the University of Texas in Studio Art but considers herself a self-trained illustrator. Mary lives in Cedar Park, a suburb of Austin, Texas. She loves to go swimming in the lake with her dog.
ReviewsThe story moves along in three chapters. Color illustrations provide support for the storyline. This book has a glossary with a pronunciation guide. There are a few questions for discussion and writing prompts for readers to explore. The project at the end of the book focuses on making bookmarks.-- "Children's Literature Comprehensive Database Newsletter"
