Description

Ethan Avery is Damage, the monstrous brute with unlimited strength for an hour. That's the (semi) good news. The bad...? Ethan's on the run from the army that transformed him. The metahuman tactical squad is hot on Avery's trail--what could go wrong when a bunch of bloodthirsty super-soldiers take on the rampaging monstrosity called Damage? Damage will have to join forces with a mysterious top military operative if he's going to outrun Colonel Jonas and her black-ops team. From writer Robert Venditti (Green Lantern), Damage is one of the most thrilling series from DC's New Age of Heroes line! Collects issues #7-12. The DC Universe just got bigger! In the New Age of Heroes, DC introduces a bold new line of comics starring a thrilling array of heroes--some you know, some you may have glimpsed in the pages of Dark Nights- Metal. They embody a spirit of epic, adventurous bravery--the kind you may remember from another era, but updated in an exciting way for today. Illustrated by DC's Master Class of artists, including legendary names like Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, John Romita Jr., Ivan Reis, Tony S. Daniel and others, these new series are great entry points for new readers and a welcome addition for longtime fans of the DC library.

Author Biography

Robert Venditti is the New York Times best-selling author of The Homeland Directive and the sci-fi graphic novel series The Surrogate, the first installment of which was adapted into a feature film starring Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames. He also writes the graphic novel adaptations of Rick Riordan's best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians novels. His most recent projects include X-O Manowar and The Flash.
