ReviewsThis is one of the most exciting HRM texts out at the moment that really does bring to life the realities of the HRM profession and its responsibilities in supporting organizational goals. * John Watkins, Coventry University London, UK * I really appreciate this textbook's ability to combine a high-level and broad perspective while still focusing in on the most important details. This makes the book suitable for anyone, whether you are studying HRM for the very first time, or you know your way around but are looking to improve. * Hannes Leroy, Erasmus University, Netherlands * Carbery and Cross have done an incredible job in putting together a wealth of fundamental topics, latest developments and trends in HR management. * Siu Yin (Sally) Cheung, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, S.A.R., China * The chapters interweave relevant contemporary and everyday issues, as well as lively current events from the business world, into the study of HRM. Very well written, well-resourced and a great book for teaching! * Joseph Eyong, De Montfort University, UK * An informative and delightful guide, full of the latest information for students, academics and practitioners alike. It also covers an area that has largely been ignored in other textbooks: HRM analytics. * Emmanuel Nkomo, Witwatersrand University, South Africa * The Spotlight on Skills resources, reflection points and review questions spread throughout the chapters, along with the HRM in the News briefs, make this an exceptional resource. * Anthony McDonnell, Cork University Business School, UCC, Ireland *
