Originally published in 1933, this book contains the Latin text of Milton's Epitaphium Damonis, alongside a rhyming English translation by Walter Skeat, done in honour of the late scholar Israel Gollancz. Skeat reproduces the version of the poem found in a pamphlet belonging to the British Museum with minimal editorial notes, with the exception of small typographical corrections.
