Author Biography
Hailing from Los Teques, Venezuela, James Tahhan developed a love for cooking at a very early age. After coming to the U.S. as a teen, Tahhan began learning skills in the kitchen and eventually graduated from one of America's most prestigious culinary schools, Le Cordon Bleu. A specialist in international cuisine and pastries, Tahhan has a passion for inspiring cooks of all levels to feel comfortable and confident with his simple and savory recipes. Tahhan is currently a co-host on the Emmy winning morning show, Un Nuevo Dia, and an exclusive columnist for People en Espanol. He is the owner of Sabores by James Tahhan in Coral Gables, Florida, and is developing his second restaurant in Chicago, Illinois.
