Description
Makki wasn't a hawk or a falcon- but he was no ordinary magpie. He was destined for greatness as a warrior bird who could save the woodland paradise in the center of the city that rose... Set in Seoul, Korea, "The Legend of the Magpie King" is an extraordinary tale of good's eternal quest to triumph over evil. Follow Makki's journey as he rises to become a mythical warrior bird. With the help of the mysterious monks of Bongeunsa Temple, a brotherly trio of high-flying raptors, and a benevolent Crow King, Makki is at the center of a mighty battle to prevent Corvus, a diabolical raven, from imposing wicked tyranny over the peaceful woodland kingdom. With the life of the Forest at stake, much will be demanded of Makki. Can he succeed in saving the threatened land he calls home? With vivid detail and cinematic sweep, The Legend of the Magpie King conjures a timeless hidden world known to few humans, with its own language and secrets passed through generations. Mystical powers, a magical cane, and frightening forces of nature come to bear as Makki struggles to deliver the Forest from treachery and madness. Above all, he must summon the power and strength within himself to rise above.
