Singing Made Simple

This manual is intended to be a basic guide to singing and making melody in your heart unto the Lord. It was written as a guide to be used with Lonnie Moore's Singing Made Simple Video Course. This study is based for the Christian Soloist who has a desire to develop their God-given talents for the purpose of worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. It is my desire to honor Christ in every aspect of this voice training manual. I have endeavored to base all of the principles in this manual upon the Holy Scriptures. First and foremost in my life's calling, I am a "preacher who sings" and not a "singer who preaches". As a result, some of my preaching may come through on my instructions in singing. As an example, all of our lessons are alliterated with the letter P. It is not necessary perhaps, but just a little enjoyment on my part!

Dr. Lonnie Moore grew up in obscurity in the Appalachian region of Kentucky. With seemingly very little musical ability, he emerged to become one of the most amazing gospel singers in America and around the world. Using the five years of vocal training received at TTU, he has taught, for thirty-five years, voice and music in Christian schools which produced several State and National Fine Arts Champions. Now Dr. Moore has made available the methods he has used in emerging from obscurity to a national, sought-after soloist. His method, Singing Made Simple, is now available, as well as affordable, to any private student, homeschool teacher, or instructor who needs supplemental help in teaching anyone to sing or even reach the next level in music.
