This relaxation CD was written to accompany the book 'Release Your Worries A guide to letting go of stress and anxiety'. 'Relax Your Worries' CD contains a range of relaxation techniques including: breathing; progressive muscle relaxation; visualization; mindfulness; 'three buckets' - this technique was adapted from Hunter, 'Daydreams for Discovery: a manual for hypnotherapists', Sea Walk Press (1988); self-compassion exercises - adapted from Forsyth and Eifert, 'The Mindfulness and Acceptance Workbook for Anxiety', New Harbinger (2007). The CD concludes with common questions about relaxation to help in overcoming 'roadblocks' to relaxation and reorientation. This relaxation CD has been created from the book 'Relax Your Worries: A guide to letting go of stress and anxiety'.

Dr Cate Howell is a general practitioner specialising in mental health and counselling for the past 16 years. Dr Michele Murphy is a clinical psychologist. She also lectures for the University of Adelaide and is a consultant psychologist with the Adelaide North East Division of General Practice.
