Description
The Bountiful Kitchen shows how you can develop and transform leftover meals into a variety of separate and delicious dishes. Start with a master recipe based on one main ingredient and then turn the leftovers into interesting new dishes - saving time and money. Cook mouthwatering Roast Chicken with Pancetta and Anchovy Stuffing and then turn the excess into tomorrow's Chicken and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Serve up Tuesday's Chilli and Basil Roasted Aubergine and Cherry Tomatoes as Wednesday's Aubergine Linguine with Pecorino Cream. Organised into four sections: Land, Sea, Garden and Sweet, covering meat, fish and vegetables and finishing off with delectable desserts, Lizzie celebrates the glorious fact that recipes are there for you to twist and change into exciting new dishes. Essential and inspiring reading for the economical, environmentally conscious and experimental cook who wants to make the most out of their food.
