Author Biography
Teresa Heapy (Author) Teresa swapped the office desk for the kitchen table in 2009, having worked as a Commissioning Editor for Oxford University Press for several years and deciding that what she really wanted to do was write books. Since then, she has written about gorillas, Batman, the ugly duckling and green goo (not all in the same book) for Raintree, Pearson, OUP and HarperCollins. In her spare time, she does comedy improvisation and plays the ukulele. She lives in Oxford, England, with her husband and three children. www.teresaheapy.co.uk Sue Heap (Illustrator) Sue Heap is a children's picture book illustrator and story writer. ReviewsVery Little Cinderella, with her "lello boots" and "BIG blue scooter" is truly adorable. * https://jillrbennett.wordpress.com/2015/03/30/very-little-cinderella/ * I love the concept of twisted fairy tales - children know all the traditional tales so well and the variations bring new life to them, making them appealing and contemporary. Very Little Cinderella speaks to us in a child's voice with a child's speech and young ones will really respond to this; it's cleverly and wittily done. A super contemporary take on the old favourite with plenty of humour. * Parents in Touch * A quirky twist on the traditional tale will have children everywhere laughing themselves to sleep. -- Rebecca Hay * www.clitheroeadvertiser.co.uk * Very Little Cinderella is a well thought out and excellently illustrated book worth having -- Philomena Manson * Children's Books Ireland * This is a cosy story, ideal for reading at bedtime * Books for Keeps *
