Reviews

"For Duchess of Devonshire fans (and fans of the Mitford and Cavendish families) this witty and very insider book follows the heirs of the dukedom for five centuries. And it's chic and a bit eccentric, just like the entire family tree." -The Style Saloniste "Six years in the making, "House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion at Chatsworth" is a close-up of the aristocratic family over five centuries through the lens of their lifestyle - their fashion, uniforms, jewels, parties, art collections, traditions and love of the natural world." -Women's Wear Daily "As the ancestral home to the dukes of Devonshire since 1549, historic English estate Chatsworth has served as the real-time runway for fashions through the ages. For House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion at Chatsworth ($60, Rizzoli), Hamish Bowles edits a rare glimpse into the estate's glamorous lineage." -Modern Luxury Interiors, Atlanta
