This work examines how the world's many religions contributed to humankind's intellectual evolution and points out their value in the future. Rosemont also explains that all religion enhances our non-material lives by providing a sense of fully belonging.
Author Biography
Henry Rosemont, Jr. is a professor of philosophy at St. Mary's College of Maryland and author of several books and articles on Chinese thought and philosophy. He is former review editor of Philosophy East and West and past president of the Society for Asian and Comparative Philosophy.
