This is a collection of unseen photographs of Michael Jackson from the key period of his career, from the end of the Jackson 5 era, and after release of "Off the Wall" through to the filming of the "Beat It" video for "Thriller". These are candid photos before Jackson was surrounded by handlers and before anyone working with him had to sign nondisclosure agreements or surrender their copyright on photos.
Author Biography
Author Todd Gray photographed Micheal Jackson from 1974 to 1983. He is currentlly a professor of art and photography at Cal State University in Long Beach, California.
