Mick Rock is a rock 'n' roll photographer known for his photos of the biggest stars in music from the 1970s to today. He has photographed artists including David Bowie, Queen, Syd Barrett, Lou Reed, Debbie Harry, the Rolling Stones, the Sex Pistols, the Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jack White, U2, Lady Gaga, and many others. The two established an instant rapport and Mick went on to document the rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust, amassing thousands of photographs, shooting posters, and album artwork, as well as producing and directing the seminal videos for 'Space Oddity', 'Jean Genie' and 'Life on Mars'. His reputation as 'the man who shot the Seventies' was cemented with iconic images of Lou Reed, Syd Barrett, Iggy Pop, Queen, Roxy Music, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones and Blondie. More recently, Mick has photographed (among many others) Kate Moss, The Scissor Sisters, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Chemical Brothers, Richard Ashcroft, Perry Farrell, Pete Yorn, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Killers.
