Description

This spiral journal features the unique and dreamlike art of Fiona Hewitt, which graces the popular Miso Pretty bath and beauty product. The layered illustrations have an Asian sensibility, made hip and mod with zooming Vespas, neon ink, colliding borders, obsessively detailed fruits and flora, curioustext, and pixie-ish girls on the go. The cover features foil and embossed stamping.

British illustrator, Fiona Hewitt, received a masters degree from the Royal College of Art in 2000. Prior to her masters she spent three years working as an illustrator in Hong Kong where she developed a love of Oriental culture and aesthetics. In addition to her work in design, book publishing, animation, and advertising, she also contributes to many major editorial publications both in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Her work was recently selected for American Illustration's annual showcase of the best art of 2006.
