These newest additions to the successful Compact Design Portfolio series focus on designers whose works are as visionary as they are recognisable: Arne Jacobsen, a mid-century modern master whose Ant Chair now outnumbers the population of his native Denmark; and Karim Rashid, whose popular designs -- found everywhere from Target to Nambe -- have made him a household name. As with the other titles in the series, the books are written by a renowned design critic and provide substantial galleries of each designer's works in a handy package.
