This series would not have been complete without New York. The book is the first of three on American cities, followed by San Francisco and Washington. It was also the first of four titles to be made into a film.
Author Biography
M. Sasek was born in 1916 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. An author and illustrator, he is best remembered for his classic stories on the great cities of the world. He died in 1980.
