Author Biography

An award-winning critic and journalist, Kieron Gillen wrote for organizations such as PC Gamer, The Guardian, Rock Paper Shotgun and Wired before turning his attention to comics. His previous credits include the critically lauded Phonogram with frequent creative partner Jamie McKelvie, as well as Thor, S.W.O.R.D. and Generation Hope. Gillen relaunched two long-standing Marvel series in Uncanny X-Men and Journey into Mystery before turning his attention to Iron Man for Marvel NOW! Brazilian artist Joe Bennett debuted on Marvel's Ravage 2099. He then drew Image Comics' Supreme with writer Alan Moore, and returned to Marvel as the artist of Nova, X-51 and The Crew. Bennett has contributed short runs to Captain America, Amazing Spider-Man and Thor, and recently collaborated on DC Comics' 52. Spanish artist Agustin Padilla's work is a familiar sight for fans of comics based on iconic 1980s properties, having featured extensively in titles featuring characters from G.I. Joe, Transformers and Dungeons and Dragons for IDW. For Marvel, he contributed to preludes to the Avengers movie, as well as issues of Ultimate Comics X-Men, Daken: Dark Wolverine, Captain America: Theater of War and Thor: Heaven and Earth.
