Description
The vision of an ideal lawn is changing. Once a symbol of status and wealth, perfect lawns are now seen as resource-guzzling, pesticide-laden problems. Homeowners are looking for an eco-conscious option to replace the traditional lawn. They don't want to waste time mowing, nor do they want to turn to chemicals to try to attain a nearly impossible standard. This is where low-maintenance groundcovers come in. Groundcover Revolution features over 40 alternatives to turf grass that create a drought-tolerant, easy-care landscape. Whether you live in a dry, warm climate or a wet, cold one, there are options available to you. Groundcover Revolution also covers the many additional benefits of these plants (hello, pollinators and biodiversity!), how to overcome challenges like poor drainage, tree roots, and dense shade, and how to install and maintain a groundcover lawn that looks gorgeous all year-round.
