Christopher Phillips is Reader in International Relations at Queen Mary, University of London, U.K and associate fellow at Chatham House's Middle East and North Africa Programme. Michael Stephens is a Senior Research Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI), and an Associate Fellow at RUSI where he previously worked as the Research Fellow for Middle East Studies. Michael was seconded to the Foreign and Commonwealth in 2017 serving as the Senior Research Analyst for Lebanon and Syria.
