Description
Welcome back to the FAYZ! This is Book 3 in the series that Stephen King calls a 'driving, torrential narrative'. It happens in one night: a girl who died now walks among the living, Zil and the Human Crew set fire to Perdido Beach, and amid the flames and smoke, Sam sees the figure of the boy he fears the most. As life in the FAYZ becomes more desperate, no one knows who they can trust. The GONE series is Lord of the Flies for the 21st century. In turns breathtaking, harrowing, and utterly terrifying. Its complex characters and moral dilemmas will delight fans of The Hunger Games, Divergent and The Maze Runner. This is dystopian fiction at its best. Have you got all 6 titles in the New York Times bestselling saga?: Gone Hunger Lies Plague Fear Light 'I am now free to leave the FAYZ, but my time there was well spent' Stephen King If you love GONE, be sure not to miss Michael's new series Front Lines - it's WWII but not as you know it!
Author Biography
Michael Grant, author of Messenger of Fear, the Gone series, and the Magnificent Twelve series, has spent much of his life on the move. Raised in a military family, he attended ten schools in five states, as well as three schools in France. Even as an adult he kept moving, and in fact he became a writer in part because it was one of the few jobs that wouldn't tie him down. His fondest dream is to spend a year circumnavigating the globe and visiting every continent. Yes, even Antarctica. He lives in California with his wife, Katherine Applegate, and their two children.
Reviews'A driving torrential narrative . . . I love these books' - STEPHEN KING Blending Lost with Lord of the Flies, this is a fast-paced, gripping, all-action novel that doesn't pull any punches - Booktrust The Gone books are reminiscent of early Stephen King - The Book Smugglers
