Description
Chronicling the ups and downs of the amazing world of John Daly, this award-winning book has now been brought right up to date to include all the latest details of Daly's career and family adventures which include a long-awaited comeback in form of the natural-born golfer with the 'killer swing' and the arrest of his ex-wife for drug-smuggling. From his unexpected win in the 1991 USPGA Championship at Crooked Stick, Indianapolis to a shocking descent into alcoholism, gambling addiction and more incidents and accidents than most people would encounter in one - maybe two - lifetimes, here is the story of a man who has been in rehab twice, fought with fans, clocked up three ex-wives and blown usd10 million on a three-year gambling spree. He has trashed his house, wrecked hotel rooms and spurned multi-million dollar sponsorship deals rather than give up drinking. Yet despite his trials and tribulations, John Daly remains the biggest draw in the game. His nononsense 'grip it and rip it' philosophy has struck a chord with golf fans the world over and his length off the tee is truly the stuff of legend.
