Author Biography
Saviour Pirotta is a best-selling children's author. The first novel in his Ancient Greek Mysteries, the Mark of the Cyclops, won the North Somerset Teachers' Book Award 2018. His picture book The Unicorn Prince, illustrated by Jane Ray, was an editor's pick in The Bookseller November 2018 and The Guardian's pick of the month in October 2018. Saviour divides his time between Scarborough in North Yorkshire and London. He likes walks by the sea, visiting haunted places and having afternoon tea Richard Johnson is the illustrator of several classic and fairy tale editions, including Three Little Pigs, a flip-up fairy tale (Child's Play). He has two new illustrated books publishing in 2018: a picture book entitled Once Upon a Snowstorm (publication November 2018, Faber & Faber) and a new non-fiction book, My Little Golden Book about the Solar System (publication September 2018).
