Starting off with life in post war Britain when rationing was still in force, through the developments of the washing machine and the television, to the latest advances of space. Panels encourage further investigation and a timeline to the chart the developments in chronological order.

Peter Hepplewhite is an experienced writer of children's history and has taught the subject for many years. He is currently the Education Officer for Tyne & Wear Archives Service.
