Author Biography
Jennifer Cossins is a 2017 CBCA shortlisted Tasmanian artist and writer with a passion for nature, the animal kingdom and all things bright and colourful. A born and bred Tasmanian, Jennifer also designs homewares, textiles and stationery, which she stocks in her store in Hobart, Red Parka. Jennifer's books include A-Z of Endangered Animals, 101 Collective Nouns, and The Baby Animal Book.
ReviewsThe Baby Animal Book has Cossins' beautiful style of artwork, and basically does what it says on the front. This is a sweet little book, perfect for little people who love animals, particularly baby ones! * Butterfly Elephant Blog * We love the challenge of Jennifer Cossins's The Baby Animal Book (Lothian, $26.99), in which the Tasmanian artist draws animal families and names the babies. OK, we know what a baby kangaroo is called, but a baby platypus? My favourite is the spot-on name for a little Tasmanian devil. * Weekend Australian *
