Description
Just about every aspect of modern life conspires against children having a healthy weight. Our reliance on cars and labour-saving devices, public paranoia about safety, the influence of the food industry and the bad example set by adults all contribute to making it too easy for children to put on weight from an early age. This is not another diet book. It does not try to inspire guilt or anxiety in parents or children. Melissa Sweet takes a holistic and positive approach to the problem of childhood obesity.
