Elizabeth Arnold has had a varied career - most recently working as a school lab technician. Her first book, The Parsley Parcel, was shortlisted for the 1995 Whitbread Award, and was adapted by CITV as Gypsy Girl. Gold and Silver Water was commended for the NASEN award.
