Joyce Milton has written several books for Penguin Young Readers, including Bats and Pocahontas- An American Princess. Milton currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. Shelly Hehenberger is an American artist. She received her MFA from the fine arts graduate program at the University of Cincinnati and since then has worked as a professional artist and teacher in Ohio and the Carolinas. She lives in North Carolina.
