Author Biography
Jerold J. Kreisman, M.D., is a distinguished clinical psychiatrist and educator who has lectured widely in this country and abroad. In addition to articles, book chapters, and a blog (I Hate You, Don't Leave Me) for Psychology Today, he has authored Sometimes I Act Crazy- Living with Borderline Personality Disorder with Hal Straus and Talking to a Loved One with Borderline Personality Disorder. Dr. Kreisman is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Hal Straus is the author or coauthor of seven books on psychology, health, and sports topics. He has published numerous articles in national magazines, including American Health, Ladies' Home Journal, Men's Health, and Redbook. Until his retirement in 2014, he was director of publications at the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
