Biomimetics for Designers presents many examples, showing each natural phenomenon alongside its application, with an accessible explanation of the biology and the story of the design. Author Biography
Veronika Kapsali is a Reader in Biomimetic Systems and leader of the BioExplore theme at Northumbria University. Originally trained as a fashion and textile designer working in London Fashion Week, she is also the co-director of MMT Textiles Limited, a company that specializes in biomimetic fibre-based textile technology.
