Description
Poems about Titahi Bay beach. But they are not your usual beach poems. An African refugee is washed up, Van Gogh is painting a boatshed, a violinist is playing to gulls in a dinghy. These poems, sometimes whimsical, sometimes historical, sometimes nostalgic, bring together many perspectives of a small horse-shoe shaped beach.
Author Biography
Adrienne Jansen writes poetry, fiction and non-fiction for both adults and children. She's published several collections of poetry, and is the co-founder of Landing Press, a small Wellington publisher of poetry that many people can enjoy. She lives at Titahi Bay, north of Wellington.
