Description
For once, the future looks bright for Adrian Monk. Everything seems to be going his way personally and professionally. He is investigating a string of accidental deaths and suicides and quickly determines they were actually murders. When the man Monk believes is the murderer is killed, Monk realises that he might be wrong. Monk's imprisoned arch nemesis, the morbidly obese criminal Dale the Whale, escapes during a prison transfer and all signs point to Captain Stottlemeyer as his accomplice. Monk will have to reboot his detective skills to clear the captain's name.
Author Biography
Lee Goldberg has written episodes of the USA Network television series Monk, as well as many other programs. He isatwo-time Edgar Award nominee and the author of several other books, including The Walk, Watch Me Die, The Dead Man, and the acclaimed Diagnosis Murder novels, based on the TV series for which he was a writer and executive producer. His previous Monk novels are available in paperback, including Mr. Monk and the Two Assistants,which won the Scribe Award for Best Novel from the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers.
