Author Biography
Billy Bob Thornton is an American actor, screenwriter, director and musician. He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and raised in the tiny town of Malvern. Together with Tom Epperson, Thornton wrote the acclaimed 1992 feature One False Move, as well as A Family Thing. In the mid-1990s, after writing, directing and starring in the independent film Sling Blade, he won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
