Author Biography

Jason Bittel is a science writer who has written for National Geographic, The New York Times, and New Scientist, to name a few. He mostly writes about animals, and tries to teach us about the life all around us. In the process, he has sniffed sloth turds, trapped wild boars, swum with piranhas, and eaten stink bugs! Jonathan Woodward is an award-winning, environmentally-friendly wildlife illustrator. Much of his work is made by cutting paper from magazines to create collages, although he works on his computer too. He is passionate about nature and the great outdoors.
