She lives in Guildford, Surrey. Melanie Williamson (Illustrator) Melanie Williamson is an illustrator currently based in Manchester, UK, and was recently shortlisted for the Sheffield Children's Book Award. She graduated in BA (Hons) Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montford University in 2000 and has since been happily painting away ever since.
