Gabrielle Murray is Senior Lecturer at La Trobe University in Bundoora, Victoria, Australia. Her publications include This Wounded Cinema, This Wounded Life: Violence and Utopia in the Films of Sam Peckinpah (2004) and various articles in academic journals such as Jumpcut: A Review of Media, Screening the Past and Metro Magazine.
