Margaret Clark (Author) Margaret Clark is one of Australia's most prolific and popular writers for young people. She has worked as a teacher, pre-school director, university lecturer, and alcohol and drug educator with the Victorian Health Department. Her work has given her great insight into the lives of children and teenagers. She has a B.Ed (Honours), a Master's degree in Education, and a Doctorate in Education. With over one hundred books about relationships, friendships, and social issues, Margaret has won numerous local and international awards, and her books are published all over the world. Her books touch upon the concerns that most young people have today - making and keeping friends, sibling rivalry, school environments, and social issues that can create confusion. Tom Jellett (Illustrator) Tom Jellett is an Australian book and editorial illustrator based in Sydney. Some of his work includes the Sporty Kids and The Besties series written by Felice Arena, Grandpa's Big Adventure and Grandpa's Space Adventure written by Paul Newman, his picture books with Justine Clarke and Arthur Baysting, The Gobbledygook is Eating a Book and The Gobbledygook and the Scribbledynoodle, and his acclaimed picture books with Michael Wagner Why I Love Footy, Why I Love Summer and Dirt by Sea. His work can also be seen in a number of magazines and newspapers.
