Description
1917 and the Russian Revolution rages on the streets of St Petersburg. Natasha's grandfather, Prince Denisov, has been arrested by the Red Guard. The rest of her family must flee for their lives. Their journey across war-torn Europe is desperate and dangerous, and it is only after years of exile that Natasha finds a new home in Scotland. Old friends care for her - surely, after her death, the house will come to them? But Natasha's will is missing. And the search for it reveals mysterious secrets, linking past, present and future.
