MEL ALCANTARA, aka Fitgurlmel, is a Dominican-American fitness professional who has diligently tracked her physical and mental transformation on Instagram over the last four years. Her transformation was so profound it caught the eye of Kim Kardashian, who reached out to Mel for personal training services. Just a year-and-a-half later, Mel has become a prominent and recurring figure within the Kardashian media empire.
