Featuring two photographs of sixty-one dogs side-by-side-including Norbert the Dogue de Bordeaux, Bella the Neapolitan mastiff, Roz the Chinese crested, and the famous mixed-breed Ramen Noodle-Shake captures the motion of shake, canines' quick, fur-flying, side-to-side head movements. One photo shows the dog beginning to turn; the other shows its wild hair and fabulous facial expression mid-twist. Many of the dogs are shaking off water-droplets caught in Carli's high-speed, high-quality photography. Shake includes an introduction by Carli explaining the inspiration behind the project, as well as behind-the-scenes photos of Carli shooting the dogs, accompanied by an afterword that answers one of the most common questions asked by fans: How does she do it
Author Biography
Carli Davidson surrounds herself with puppies every day in the hope that she will absorb their youth and achieve eternal life. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, Tim, pets Norbert, Saul, and Yushi, and a rotating cast of foster animals.
