Reviews

"An attractive, general introduction to the 'what' and 'why' of shells, rather than to 'which is which.'" -- Booklist "Using interesting and accurate illustrations and just the right words, the book first introduces the idea of a home for an animal and then covers shells as the home of snails, turtles, crabs, clams, and oysters." -- Science Books and Films
