Author Biography

After graduating from Cambridge University, Ruth Meyer worked for the United Nations as an elections adviser in a wide range of interesting countries. She returned to Cambridge to train as a Green Badge guide and runs Cambridge At Your Feet (www.cambridgeatyourfeet.co.uk). Cathy Willis, Steve Robertson and Maggie Hartley met some 20 years ago when training to be tourist guides. They all have a long association with Cambridge but have different professional backgrounds - Cathy in educational publishing both freelance and at Cambridge University Press, Steve in economics and business and Maggie in nursing both in the NHS and in student health. Their shared love of history and Cambridge led them to co-found See Cambridge Differently and they enjoy offering bespoke tours of Cambridge, Ely and the surrounding area to both tourists and local people.
